All of this happened because I needed a certain device for my pedalboard.

I’m a guitarist in genres like psychedelic folk (The Sleeplings) and doom (Dread Witch). I like pedals. I like tweaking and blending the dirty ones. I only miss having more control over this in live setups.

Nevertheless, the device I had in mind simply wasn’t out there. So I started drawing sketches while trying to convince myself to let it go, or let someone else build it… but I couldn’t.

It has been years of experimentation, dead ends, and a living room full of breadboards. Finally I have an Anamator on my board – still testing and eradicating the last bugs. And it feels just like I hoped.
